What you need to know

To enroll simply go to the 'Enroll now' page and fill in the blank fields with the correct information. A message will be sent to the email you provided with the enrollment form link which must be completed within 48 hours (only send information if you are enrolling yourself  and/or  your child(ren). Once you and/or your child(ren) have  been added to the student list, you will receive a confirmation letter to your email and a student ID number. Open enrollment dates are posted on the home page. We will not accept students after the end date of enrollment and students will have to wait until next semester (waiting list). Note that a non-refundable payment is due at the time of enrollment. Students are enrolled on a first come, first serve basis (maximum of 10 students per group, private  lessons  are  upon  the  availablility  of teacher).

Our new 4-week semester  begins 2  Sha’baan  1446  H.  (Saturday  1  February, 2025) InshaAllah and will continue until  24  Sha’baan  1446 H. (Sunday  23  February,  2025). Our  Qur’an lessons  are  designed to  aid  sisters  and  girls  properly  read  from  the mushaf  in  preparation for  the  blessed  month  of  Ramadan. We  will  use  the  well  known  book  Qaai’dah  Nooraniyya. These  lessons  are  self  paced  so  each  student  can  memorize at their  own  pace  while  learning  to  read  the  Quran  properly.  All classes are live via private zoom meeting. No males over the age of 11  are allowed during live classes (meetings, assessments, or any other verbal contact with the teacher). Live  lessons  will  be  every  Saturday and  Sunday from  8:30pm-9:30pm  Egypt  time (2  days a week).

Our new 4–week program  begins 5  Sha’baan  1446  H.  (Tuesday,  February  4,  2025) InshaAllah and will continue until  28  Sha’baan  1446 H. (Thursday,  February  27, 2025).  Our Muqadimah  1  students  will  cover  matetial  to  aid  them  in  understanding  and  utilizing  basic  grammar  rules.  Students must  have previously  studied  some  grammar  even  if  just  a  little.  All classes are live via private zoom meeting. No males over the age of 11 are allowed during live classes (meetings, assessments, or any other verbal contact with the teacher). All group grammar (Muqadimah 1)  classes are held Tuesdays through Thursdays (3 days a week)  from  8:30pm-9:30pm  Egypttime.

Our new 4–week program  begins 2  Sha’baan  1446  H.  (Sunday,  February  3,  2025) InshaAllah and will continue until  26  Sha’baan  1446 H. (Tuesday,  February  25, 2025).  Our Muqadimah  2  students  will  cover  matetial  to  aid  them  in  making  firm  grammar  rules  in  order  to  understand various  texts  and  conversation.  Students must  have a  moderate level  of  understanding as  all  lessons will  be  taught  in  95%  Arabic  Fushaa.  All classes are live via private zoom meeting. No males over the age of 11 are allowed during live classes (meetings, assessments, or any other verbal contact with the teacher). All group grammar (Muqadimah 2)  classes are held Tuesdays and  Sundays  (2  days a week)  from  5:45pm-7:15pm  Egypt time.

Noor Al-arabiya has a waiting list for families interested in joining next semester.   Students  move  up  a  level  in  the  following  year once  all  semesters are  competed  and  testing  is done. If you are interested in signing up for our waiting list, simply visit the ‘enroll now’ page and include your name, your child's name(s) and specify your interest. New students will be enrolled based on the waiting list for the following semester after our current students who wish to continue  in  the  coming  semester.  

There will be a short assessment (approximately 15-30  minutes) given to each student periodically to ensure adequate progression and a final test upon completing the book. It is mandatory that each student completes  an  assessment or otherwise cannot continue with the remainder of the course. All assessments will be via  google  form and scores will only be shared with parents  (And  student).

Once you've enrolled and  have  submitted  your  payment,  there  is  NO  REFUND  available. However,  you do have the option to cancel and receive a partial refund if it is within 3  days prior to the beginning of  a  new  month (this  only  applies  to  new  students).  We DO  NOT  offer  refunds  during  any  course. If for any reason a class is canceled or incomplete due to the teacher, each student will be compensated with a make-up  lesson  (according  to  teacher’s  availability).  If  a  class  is  canceled  due  to  tardiness  or  no-show  on  behalf  of  students  or  any  other  reason,  no  compensation is  required upon  the  teacher.

If a payment is not submitted by the 5th day of the month, your child will lose their spot and will not be able to attend classes until a payment is made (if the spot is available). In the case your child returns, fees will be prorated for that month.  If  you  have  discussed different payment arrangements with  your  instructor,  this  policy  doesn’t apply  to  you.

Making a secure payment is easy. We have created many convenient ways to make a payment via PayPal, CashApp, Venmo,  or google pay. Your  instructor will  provide  instructions on  how  to  submit  your  payment.  When submitting a payment, please pay what is indicated on your invoice that is sent to your email.  

PAYMENTS ARE NON REFUNDABLE-SEE ABOVE

Students  MUST inform the teacher 24 hours for before class if they  will be absent. If the  teacher  is  not  informed, this will be considered as a no-show  (unexcused absence). Please be sure to inform your teacher if you  and/or  your  child cannot attend a class as soon as possible by sending a detailed email or text message  including: student's ID number(s) and reason(s) for absence. Note that if a student exceeds 3 consecutive unexcused days, this will result in automatic withdrawal from the course. All students  MUST be on time! If a student arrives more than 10 minutes late and this occurs 3 times without an excuse, they will be withdrawn from the course. If  none  of  the  students show  up  within  10  minutes of  the  start  of  the  lesson,  the  instructor will  close  the  lesson  and  resume  the  following day.

Any information provided to Noor Al-arabiya from parents and students will NOT be shared with anyone except the teacher including (emails, phone numbers, addresses etc;) This information is safe and will be kept on file for record purposes. It is NOT  permitted that  any males over the age of 10 to be present at the time of live classes (meetings, assessments or any other verbal contact with the teacher) out of consideration for  the teacher and other families.  Some families may have certain circumstances where this is not possible. If this is the case, parents must discuss this with the teacher prior to the start of any class. Classes are NOT allowed to be recorded under any circumstances! If it comes to the knowledge of the teacher that any class was recorded, the student involved will be withdrawn from the course immediately and will not be able to attend any classes (group or private) with Noor Al-arabiya in the future.
